Looking out for someone shouldn't mean watching them. VAKT Home was designed from the start to protect the dignity and privacy of the person it looks after.
No cameras. Nothing recorded.
Nothing in the system can see. The node listens only for a call for help, recognizes it on the spot, and never records, stores or sends audio.
Nothing to wear
No pendant, no watch, no tracking on their body. Their independence stays theirs.
The raw signal stays home
The detailed signal is processed inside the home. Only simple status updates and alerts are sent to the app.
Security you don't have to think about.
A private network for the nodes
Nodes connect only to the VAKT hub on their own network. They never join your home WiFi.
Signed software updates
The hub only installs updates that are digitally signed by us. Anything altered or unsigned is refused.
Encrypted in transit
Updates from the hub to the app are encrypted on their way through.
Hosted on Google Cloud
Your account runs on Google's cloud platform, which is certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Our own security practices follow the same standard.
Your account, your home
Each home is its own account. Only people signed in to that account can see it.
Only what's needed to look out for them.
