Terms of sale

These terms apply to VAKT Home hardware bought on this website from Rekall Industries Limited ("we", "us"). Your VAKT Home plan and monthly insights are bought in the VAKT Home app and are also covered by the Apple App Store or Google Play terms.

What VAKT Home is

VAKT Home is a wellness and activity monitor. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not an emergency or monitoring service. Alerts go to the people you invite in the app. In an emergency, call 911.

Orders and prices

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Your order is accepted when we email your confirmation. If we can't fill an order, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

Shipping

We ship to addresses in the United States. Shipping is free. We'll email your expected ship date with your confirmation and tracking when your order ships. If we can't ship by the date we gave you, we'll let you know and you can cancel for a full refund.

Returns

You can return hardware within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the price you paid. Contact us first and we'll send return instructions. Items should be returned with their parts and cables.

Warranty

We warrant VAKT Home hardware against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from delivery. If a device is faulty in that time, we'll repair or replace it. This doesn't cover damage from misuse, accidents, liquids or unauthorized changes.

Cellular service

If you add the cellular connection, the service is billed monthly by us to the card you used at checkout. You can cancel any time and it stops at the end of the billing month.

Your plan

VAKT Home needs an active plan to send alerts and show activity in the app. Plans are billed by Apple or Google and are managed and cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. VAKT Home is designed to help families stay aware, but no system can detect every event, and it does not replace emergency services or personal care. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Pennsylvania, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
